OPERATION GIDEON
Operation Gideon is a national prayer initiative God
put into the heart of his servant Revd. Dr. Moses Aransiola of the Gethsemane
Prayer Ministries Intl., Ibadan.
This prayer initiative is a combined effort of various
prayer bodies in the country to raise a 24-hour altar of praise and prayer and
to covenant the land and people of Nigeria afresh to the God of Heaven. This
24-hour altar of praise and prayer will be raised simultaneously in all the 36
state capitals of the Federation and Abuja from 6pm on Monday 1st
December to 6pm on Tuesday 2nd December 2014. Prophetic prayers will
thereafter be offered in all the local government headquarters by a selected team
of intercessors who have been fully briefed for this assignment.
The purpose behind the initiative is to undo the
diabolical activities of wicked men towards the 2015 general elections, to
safeguard the prophetic destiny of Nigeria and to covenant her lands and people
afresh to the God of Heaven. Prophetic prayers will thereafter be offered in
all the local government headquarters by a selected team of intercessors who have
been fully briefed for this assignment. The prayers will however be rounded off
in the state capitals on Saturday, 6th December 2014 between the hours of 3pm
and 6pm and it is to be attended by all.
Both the National Offices of CAN and PFN have been
fully briefed about this initiative and their leadership are extremely
delighted about it and have given it their total blessing. What is expected of
you, as an individual Christian, an intercessor, a church leader, willing to play
your part?
- Participate fully in the 24-hour praise and prayer altar from 6pm on Monday 1st to 6pm on Tuesday 2nd December
- Participate fully in the Rounding off Prayer-for-the-Nation on Saturday 6th December between 3pm and 6pm
- Mobilise as many people as you can to be part of this initiative. Your friends, prayer partners, church members and other ministers network you belong to
- Support the Operation Gideon Team in your respective states as much as you can in order to ensure the success of the Operation, to the glory of God.

God bless you as you make a sacrifice for
the sake of our dear nation. If the people of Nineveh can respond to a national
call, why can't we without thinking of who is behind it, what denomination are
they made of, does it have the approval of my pastor, let me seek the Lord
about it, I am not persuaded about it, I can pray on my own in my house, our
church is already praying – and so on.

on faithfully in His service.
